As Senior Vice President, Business Development, Tim Sanders is responsible for leading Ventas’s business development activities across all asset classes. Since joining Ventas in 2015, he has expanded key relationships and opportunities that have helped fuel the Company’s growth and success, including in his prior role as Senior Investment Officer. Sanders serves as Co-Chair of the Ventas DE&I Steering Committee and as the Company’s representative in key industry forums and philanthropy initiatives.

Prior to joining Ventas, Sanders held senior housing finance positions with GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services, Marathon Asset Management and Capital Funding Group.

Sanders is a board member of Prince George’s County Economic Development Incentive Fund and the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA) Public Policy Committee. He dedicates his time and expertise to numerous mentorship programs focused on expanding access and creating pathways for success in commercial real estate, including the Real Estate Executive Counsel and the Howard University School of Business.

Sanders received his B.B.A. from Howard University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
