As Senior Vice President, Strategy and Analytics, Carri Hanson provides strategic leadership for the Senior Housing Operating Portfolio (SHOP), including overseeing Ventas’s Data Science and Financial Planning & Analysis teams. With extensive industry experience and a strong technical background, Hanson advances the Company’s analytical capabilities, plays a pivotal role in forecasting and serves as a key support for the SHOP team. As part of this work, her team leads the development of Ventas’s proprietary data analytics and experiential insights platform, Ventas OITM, which helps drive operational performance and innovation.

Hanson has held roles of increasing responsibility since joining Ventas in 2020. Her senior housing expertise spans operating companies, developers and REITs. Prior to joining Ventas, she helped establish the Active Adult platform and built reporting and dashboard systems for Greystar, the real estate development and property management company. Earlier in her career, she led analytics at HealthPeak Properties, Inc. and held positions with Brookdale Senior Living.

Hanson earned a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) with a minor in Spanish cum laude from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
