Kevin Bohl is Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary for Ventas. He provides strategic and legal leadership for the Company’s corporate, governance, transactional and financing activities and serves as a key liaison to the Board of Directors and its committees. He has nearly 20 years of experience in both in-house and law firm settings.

Bohl and his team provide strategic and legal advice on the Company’s transactional and asset management matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, developments, joint ventures and other structured investments, as well as property-level and platform financing arrangements.

He and his team oversee and execute on the Company’s corporate and securities legal work, advising on corporate debt and equity transactions, SEC reporting and other securities and corporate finance matters. In his role as Assistant Corporate Secretary, he supports the Company’s corporate governance program and the Company’s Board of Directors and its committees. In recognition of his leadership and accomplishments in corporate governance, he was named Governance Intelligence’s 2024 Governance Professional of the Year (Large Cap) and inducted into its Hall of Fame.

Bohl chairs the Ventas Employee Charitable Fund Committee and serves on the Board of Directors of the Ventas Foundation.

Bohl joined Ventas in 2011 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Ventas, he practiced in the real estate group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, advising on a wide range of real estate transactions, fund and investment management matters, mergers and acquisitions and financings.
