Kevin M. Bohl is Senior Vice President and Interim General Counsel, Ethics & Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary for Ventas. He leads the Company’s legal, compliance and government relations functions, with responsibility for corporate governance, securities, capital markets, transactional and risk management matters, and serves as principal legal advisor to the Board of Directors and its committees.

Mr. Bohl has 20 years of experience in both in-house and law firm settings. Since joining Ventas in 2011, he has held roles of increasing responsibility, most recently serving as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. A recognized leader in corporate governance, he was named Governance Intelligence’s 2024 Governance Professional of the Year (Large Cap) and inducted into its Hall of Fame.

Prior to joining Ventas, he practiced in the real estate group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, advising on a wide range of real estate transactions, fund and investment management matters, mergers and acquisitions and financings.

Mr. Bohl is admitted to the bar in Illinois. He holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law and a B.M. from the Manhattan School of Music.
