Longtime Leadership in Board Diversity
Ventas has consistently been a leader in gender diversity on our Board of Directors and has maintained at least two female board members since 2001, including our Chairman & CEO, Debra A. Cafaro. We have appointed five new board members since 2019, and 54% of our directors are diverse by gender or race.
The Ventas DE&I Framework
Our comprehensive DE&I Framework, developed under the leadership of Ventas Chairman and CEO Debra A. Cafaro, provides a strategic foundation from which we can make meaningful progress toward a more diverse, equitable and inclusive world. The framework is organized around four key pillars – People, Culture, Beyond Ventas, and Investment & Financial – and put into action via our formal DE&I Committee.
